Welcome to: STEWARDS FOR CHRIST. My goal here is to share my walk of faith with you and others. A journey to know Christ; weave daily prayer into our lives and get closer to God. Yes, it is a personal journey. A path at times we travel alone yet yearn for accompaniment with others. This is when the action of the term Synod comes in…journeying together.

As His child and a Prayer Warrior, we must pray for one another, for the world and our needs. Times are troubling, and those weak in faith, unsure, those forgotten need our prayers. Let us share our walk of Faith with them.

My Traveling Companion 

My sweet Guardian Angel, you have traveled with me long miles. Kept me safe in much sojourn, your presence is not forgotten. What a true gift I was given by my Heavenly Father, you my trusty companion to guide me over those rocky paths, to console me during dark times of uncertainty. Your loving wings of protection, a stronghold against the enemy, I feel your constant duty to your earthly mission: me, my being, my soul. 

Thank you, my friend, my heart is overwhelmed by your love. God bless you in your service to me. Amen.

 My Hiking Buddy

Prepared to hike across life, my hiking buddy and me.

 Map in hand, the road ahead, paved with intrigue and uncertainty.

 Supplies in check, my backpack filled with God's Armour through his mighty power, with Christ's love for shelter. Nails and wood for my salvation, and His Devine Mercy for the forgiveness of my sins.

 My buddy's instructions are clear as a lifetime guide, to scout ahead the smooth and uneven roads.

 To protect me and my life's map from the claws of evil and its ugliness and make clear when I've taken a wrong turn on this trek.

 Should I stumble and fall along rocky paths, my hiking buddy reaches out to me with love, enlightenment and encouragement, to rise up, to look deep into my soul and pray for forgiveness.

 As our hike nears its end, our trail shortens to its close, my hope...to enter the kingdom of heaven with all the angels and saints with my guardian angel-my hiking buddy, standing right next to me.

My Dearest Guardian Angel

My dearest Guardian Angel, good morning. Thank you for my peaceful slumber.

Thank you for being at my bedside, lovingly watchful, caring, and guiding like a big brother.

 Your patience before my existence and your love for me since the blessing of my birth remains ever strong.

Your friendship, your duty to keep danger and evil from me, to help me understand my journey, to encourage me to be more prayerful, what a blessing you are to me. Thank you, my sweet guardian.

Encourage me, my dear guardian to always glorify our Lord Jesus Christ, to praise Him, and to pray for others and see their beauty within; to see the beauty in life and be ever grateful of my blessed gifts.

You've never disappointed me during moments of loneliness in self-worth or felt beaten down, or during my impatience when searching for answers; what a blessing and honor to have you, my angelic companion, to lift me, to pray alongside me and for me, in this...my life's journey.

A true guardian with Your protective presence and loving embrace, warm and secure during my walk on this earth, clearing a safe and encouraging path. 

I wait with gladness for the day we meet and both stand before our Lord Jesus Christ in His heavenly kingdom. God bless you my special friend. God bless you and thank you. Amen.

Purification 

My dearest guardian angel

You've been with me since before I was known, and only to my Father, 

You've weathered with me my tests and trials and Prayerfully rescued me. 

I ask of you when I'm called home, stand by my side as I before our Lord, 

As my life and sins are reviewed, I know I will purify. I will grieve for our Lord's Divine Mercy upon my soul. Pray on my behalf...

My failings I pray for forgiveness that our just Lord will pour forth His Divine Mercy. 

As I wait during my cleansing from my sins, purifying my soul, pray for me. My hope...to be received in God's, our Almighty Father's heavenly home with Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer with our Blessed Mother in heaven in union with the Holy Spirit and of course with you, my sweet and faithful friend. God bless you and thank you.

Prayer to Your Guardian Angel

O most faithful companion, appointed by God to be my guide and protector: you are ever at my side.

What thanks can I offer you for your faithfulness and love and for all the benefits which you have ­conferred upon me? You watch over me in sleep; you console me when I am sad; you lift me up when I fall; you avert the dangers that threaten me; you prepare me for the future; you withdraw me from evil and encourage me to good; you exhort me to penance when I yield to temptation and reconcile me to my offended God….

Do not leave me, then, I beg you; but still comfort me in adversity, restrain me in prosperity, defend me in danger, assist me in temptations, lest at any time I fall a ­victim to them.

Offer to God my prayers and groanings and all my religious exercises, and obtain for me the great gift of final perseverance, and the grace to die in the friendship of my Creator, and so to enter into life everlasting. Amen.
