Welcome to: STEWARDS FOR CHRIST. My goal here is to share my walk of faith with you and others. A journey to know Christ; weave daily prayer into our lives and get closer to God. Yes, it is a personal journey. A path at times we travel alone yet yearn for accompaniment with others. This is when the action of the term Synod comes in…journeying together.

As His child and a Prayer Warrior, we must pray for one another, for the world and our needs. Times are troubling, and those weak in faith, unsure, those forgotten need our prayers. Let us share our walk of Faith with them.

Mary, Queen of Heaven & Earth

Blessed, Ever Virgin, the Mother of our Lord, Queen of Heaven & Earth, Queen of Angels, our Mother

 August Queen of Heaven

August Queen of Heaven, sovereign queen of Angels, you who at the beginning received from God the power and the mission to crush the head of Satan, we beseech you humbly, send your holy legions so that, on your orders and by your power, they will track down demons, fight them everywhere, curb their audacity and plunge them into the abyss.

Who can be compared to God? Oh good and tender Mother, you will always be our love and our hope. Oh divine Mother, send the Holy Angels and Archangels to defend me and to keep the cruel enemy far from me. Holy Angels and Archangels defend us, protect us.  Amen. 

August Queen of Heaven

 August Queen of Heaven! Sovereign Mistress of the angels! Thou who from the beginning hast received from God the power and mission to crush the head of Satan, we humbly beseech thee to send thy holy Legions, that, under thy command and by thy power, they may pursue the evil spirits, encounter them on every side, resist their bold attacks and drive them hence into the abyss of eternal woe. Amen  

The Five Fatima Prayers

Prayers that originated from the Marian apparitions at Fátima, Portugal, in 1917.

1) The Fatima Prayer (Decade Prayer)

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy. Amen. (Please add this prayer to the end of each decade of the Rosary.)

2) The Pardon Prayer

My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee! I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love Thee. (The Angel of Peace in 1916 visited the children and gave them this prayer. That year, Mary had not yet appeared to them.)

3) The Angel’s Prayer

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary I beg the conversion of poor sinners. Amen. (The Angel of Peace gave the children this second prayer. We read in various web sites; a Eucharistic host & chalice was suspended in air. The angel led them to kneel & pray this prayer.

4) The Eucharistic Prayer

Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Amen. (The three children received this prayer in their hearts at the first apparition. According to Sr. Lucia, a bright light shone all around them, and not realizing it, they began to recite this prayer.)

5) The Sacrifice Prayer

O Jesus, it is for the love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and for the conversion of poor sinners [that I do this]. Amen.

On July 13, 1917, Mary gave the children this prayer and the Fatima Prayer/Decade Prayer. (The Sacrifice Prayer is recited when offering up suffering to God.)
